Ranked Split 2 is just around the corner. Are you ready?

League of Legends Ranked Season 13 Split 1 is nearing its conclusion and the second split is on the horizon.

The annual ranked season in League of Legends consists of two halves, the first of which begins in January and the second around the middle of the year. Players will start unranked with the soft reset each split and must climb their way and play their placement games to reveal their rank. Previously, ten placement games were required but are now reduced to five. Alongside this, Split 2 also introduces new changes to the ranked system including the addition of the new ranked tier– Emerald and removal of promotion series.

At the end of the split, players may be able to get their hands on the new Victorious Anivia. Victorious Anivia is the first Victorious skin for this year, and this time around, reaching Gold is no longer necessary to obtain this skin. All players of all ranks can now obtain it in exchange for Split Points (SP) that you can obtain by playing ranked games. If you’re below gold, you’ll have to accumulate 1600SP, while players that have reached Gold and above, will only need 80 SP.
