How to get Void Emblem in Teamfight Tactics (TFT)

Build the biggest monsters in all of Set 9.

For many of Teamfight Tactics' (TFT's) most popular build, the only way you can reach their top potential by using emblems. Make your Katarina a Slayer, or transform Taric into a terrifying Noxian. Whatever you use, it'll revolutionize your team. Now, one of the emblems people are most interested in is the Void emblem. But how do you get a Void Emblem and how do you use it?

What is the Void trait in TFT?

When you have 3 Void, you get a placeable Void Egg on your board. This Void Egg will hatch into various Void creatures to knock up your enemies and aid you in your battle. Depending on how many Void units you have, the Void creature will become larger and more threatening with more devastating abilities. For example, for each Star Level on your Void units, the Void creature will have 25% increased health and AP.

TFT Set 9's Void units include:

  • Cho'Gath (1-cost)
  • Malzahar (1-cost)
  • Kassadin (2-cost)
  • Rek'Sai (3-cost)
  • Vel'Koz (3-cost)
  • Kai'Sa (4-cost)
  • Bel'Veth (5-cost)

If you play a Void build, your Void creature will include the Void Remora, Rift Herald, and...

How to get Baron Nashor in TFT

Baron Nasher is one of the Void creatures you can spawn with a Void build. It has the most Health and does the most damage of any Void creature. It's also the only one with ranged attack abilities. So, once you knock up and clear the front line, it can just keep on firing on the enemy backline. However, you have to have quite a few Void units to make Baron Nashor happen. The Void Creatures spawn as follows:

  • 3 Void for a Void Remora
  • 6 Void for Rift Herald (Shelly)
  • 8 Void for Baron Nashor

Considering there are only seven Void units, this means that you have to get a Void emblem or a Void buff to get Baron Nashor. Otherwise, you should settle for Rift Herald.

Ways to get Void Emblems in TFT

While there are many emblems in TFT Set 9, you cannot make a Void Emblem. There is no spatula and item component combo that makes a Void. Because of this, you'll have to rely on Legends, augments, and portals to get your extra Void Emblem.

As far as Legends go, your best option is the Urf Legend. This Legend offers you augments like Branching Out, Ancient Archives I, and Ancient Archives II that give you emblems and Tomes of Traits, where you can hopefully get Void Emblems. However, the Void Heart and Void Soul augments are more directly helpful. They will simply give you a Void emblem as well as extra loot.

In the case of portals, your most helpful option is the Placidium Library. So, if you're hunting for that Baron Nashor and you see this portal in the beginning of your game, choose it. Placidium Library will let you place the Scroll of Knowledge on one of your Voids and offer you whatever traits that unit has. Makes it simple to go into a game planning to go all out on a Void build.

Some of the best units to use the Void emblem on are Challengers. This way, they can help buff your Kai'Sa while getting you closer to spawning Baron Nashor.
