XSET are your Fortnite World Cup champions!

The Esports World Cup, which we’ve discussed extensively over the past few weeks, has finally come to an end after an intense four-day competition. The event featured the best players and teams battling it out for the coveted title of World Cup Champions!

XSET’s journey in this tournament began in the group stage, where they faced DRAGONS Esports and Team Falcons, emerging victorious against both. In the quarterfinals, they dominated the formidable Gaimin Gladiators with a 4-0 win, and then secured a 4-1 victory against Heroic in the semifinals. The final showdown was against Exceed, where XSET triumphed 4-2, ultimately winning the event!

The team captain, Ritual, not only led his team to victory but also earned the $50,000 MVP prize for the tournament.

"I want to shout out my teammates most of all—they were the best to play with. And thanks to Sven, our coach, for putting in so much work with us and grinding even harder," he said.
