One of the most anticipated esports event, VCT Masters, is about to kick off in Japan. As teams and fans from all around the world converge on this vibrant nation, the stage is set for thrilling games and intense competition. Here's all you need to know about VCT Masters 2023.
Teams

Format
Twelve Teams will be split into two different groups. The top three teams who finished first in their International Leagues will skip the Group Stage and will be placed into the double elimination bracket. The remaining eight teams will have to compete in a double elimination Group Stage.
The two teams emerging from each group will advance to the double elimination bracket with the teams who finished first in their International Leagues.
PLAYOFFS will feature four teams, the teams will be placed into a double elimination bracket. The winner of this bracket will be crowned MASTERS TOKYO Champion.
TL;DR:
- Early matches will be a Best-of-Three.
- Lower Finals and Grand Final will be Best-of-Five.
