VALORANT Progression Update Explained: Kingdom Credits, Accessories Store, Agent Rewards and Missions

Ahead of the launch of the new Episode, Riot Games has shared more information about its revamped progression of VALORANT. Here's a breakdown of it.

The new Episode will include tons of content, including the revamped progression, new addition to the currencies in VALORANT, more rewards, new agent accessories.

REWORKED DAILY MISSIONS

Riot Games revamped dailies and extended the dailies even further. Users can track their progression through milestones called "Checkpoints". Whenever a Checkpoint is reached, the user is rewarded 1,000 XP and 150 Kingdom Credits. Dailies show four tiers (Diamonds) now, each tier consists of four checkpoints, which means a user is awarded a total of 16,000XP and 2,400 Kingdom Credits upon completing all of them. In addition, dailies can stack, which means users don't have to complete them in one-go.

KINGDOM CREDITS

Kingdom Credits are a new addition to VALORANT's current currencies. Kingdom Credits can be earned through winning rounds, however, those have a cap at 10,000. Kingdom Credits can be exchanged to unlock various items, such as accessories from previous battlepasses, and can also be used to purchase agent contracts and unlock them quicker.

AGENTS & GEAR

Agent Contracts, now known as Agents & Gear, are multi-level passes that unlock Agents and their corresponding accessories. Now, these contracts are split into Agent Recruitment Events, Agent Store and Agent Gear.

Agent Recruitment Events are free vent passes that activate upon the release of a new agent.

Agent Store is a store where users will be able to unlock agent contracts and get access to them using Kingdom Credits, VALORANT Points or Agent Unlock Tokens.

Agent Gear are the items featured in Agents' contracts, these items are obtainable using Kingdom Credits.

ACCESSORY STORE

This is a store that will feature items from previous Battlepasses, the store will rotate its items, of course. The items featured on the store can be bought using Kingdom Credits.
