Although it’s safe to say that Timothy “TimTheTatman” Betar benefited hugely from the meteoric rise of Epic Games’ hit Battle Royale, Fortnite, he had previously found significant success streaming other titles.
Whilst Tim would generally be defined as a variety streamer, First-person shooters have been his go-to over the years. Before Fortnite, he clocked a whole lot of hours on both Overwatch and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Now though, it seems the gamer has his eyes set on Valorant glory. In a recent Tweet, he claimed “I’ll be radiant in a week and a half”.

Sure, he may have been partly joking, but when you’re TimTheTatman it’s easy to draft in help from the best. Former CS:GO pro Erik “fl0m” Flom has already made the offer to team up.
Having been focusing on Call of Duty: Warzone for the last few months, Tim hasn’t played a whole lot of Valorant. However, it sounds like he is going to start heading on towards the second half of his streams.
He finished Tuesday’s broadcast with a bit of solo-queue to complete his ranked placement matches. There were of course some hilarious moments along the way, but the session ended in a disappointing defeat, landing Tim in Gold 1.

“We got some work to do boys” he told fans after learning his rank, updating his Radiant ETA to two weeks-time.
The whole world watched as Tim recently struggled on the quest for his first Fall Guys crown. After being clowned by celebrities and friends alike, we can only hope that his Valorant journey is as entertaining.
