VCT PACIFIC WEEK 3: Recap, Scorelines and Standings

VCT Pacific league Week 3 Recap!

VCT Pacific just finished its third week, which included intense games, continuance of domination from some teams and shocking scorelines. Here's a breakdown of VCT Pacific's WEEK 3.

RECAP

The third week of VCT Pacific league has shown and solidified both DRX and Gen.G as the frontrunners for the title and solid contenders for the international championship. In addition, it raised a lot of questions regarding the performance of Talon Esports, DetonationGaming FM and Global Esports, which remain without a single win three weeks into the league.

Talon Esports' record in this league is saddening for fans all across the world, because this team managed to go far in the first international event since franchising: VCT LOCK//IN São Paulo, Brazil. The roster defeated MIBR, Evil Geniuses and fought tooth and nail against the region's giants DRX, which made them an instant fan favourite and raised the expectations, especially from their superstar GarnetS.

And DetonationGaming FM continues to fumble important games, winning one single map across three weeks of the competition, proving that ZETA Division might be the best Japanese VALORANT team out there.

SCORELINES

Rex Regnum Qeon 2-0 DetonationGaming FM

Rex Regnum Qeon manage to secure their first VALORANT Champions Tour: Pacific league win in a class against DetonationGaming FM without dropping a single map. DetonationGaming FM's loss against RRQ makes it difficult for the team to maintain a positive mental and further the hopes of a comeback for the Japanese team, the pressure keeps going from the fanbase and their local rivals Zeta Division keeps on winning.

T1 0-2 Paper Rex

Paper Rex subs in their new signing "Something" in their clash against T1, which helps them secure the win in a showcase of prowess. With this win, Paper Rex teases a comeback to their prime form which we've witnessed during Champions, Masters and other international events.

Zeta Division 2-1 Global Esports

Zeta Division keep their mindset strong as the Japenese team wins against Global Esports, further stomping on Global Esports' hopes and dreams of securing a single win in this competition.

Talon Esports 0-2 DRX

After their win against Talon Esports, DRX continues to sit on the top of the leaderboard, proving to be the frontrunners for the VCT Pacific title.

Team Secret 0-2 Gen.G

Gen.G doesn't leave it a secret that their team is looking to rival DRX and battle them for the title of the region's best, as well as make the underdog run for the title. In the process, Gen.G also sends a message to all international teams, Gen.G is dangerous.
