VALORANT Agent Veto: All You Need to Know

Veto is VALORANT’s 29th agent, revealed during VCT 2025 Champions Paris Grand Finals. Hailing from Senegal. Veto can disrupt opponents’ abilities, teleport using a placed vortex, and even enter a state that makes them immune to debuffs. Here's all you need to know about Veto, the newest addition to the sentinels role.

VALORANT Veto Abilities Explained

Crosscut (C)

EQUIP a Vortex. FIRE to place on the ground. While in range and looking at the vortex, REACTIVATE to teleport to the vortex. During the BUY PHASE, the vortex can be reclaimed to be REDEPLOYED.

Chokehold (Q)

EQUIP a viscous fragment of your mutation. FIRE to throw. The fragment deploys upon impact, creating a trap to hold enemies in place. Held enemies are Deafened and Decayed. Enemies can destroy the trap before activation.

Interceptor (E)

EQUIP an Interceptor. FIRE to place the Interceptor at the projected location. Once placed, RE-USE to activate. Once active, it will destroy any utility that would BOUNCE off a player and/or be destroyed naturally by gunfire. Enemies can destroy the Interceptor.

Evolution (X)

INSTANTLY begin to fully mutate, gaining a combat stim, regeneration, and becoming IMMUNE to all forms of debuffs. Becoming immune to ability damage that does not act like a firearm. Immunity will last for the ENTIRE ROUND.

VALORANT Agent Veto Release Date

Riot Games confirmed that Waylay will be added to Valorant on October 7, 2025. Players can unlock him right away for 1,000 VP or earn his through Agent Recruitment Event by amassing 200,000 XP. After the event, Veto will be available for 8,000 Kingdom Credits.
