Team Secret kicks off the Omega Bracket with massive upset at VCT LOCK//IN

The Omega Bracket kicked off with the biggest upset of VCT LOCK//IN tournament, so far.

EMEA region has been struggling in the international event, with the elimination of KOI, Giants Gaming, Karmine Corp and Team Heretics in Alpha Bracket. The awe continues to roam as Team Liquid loses to Team Secret in the first game of Omega Bracket.

Team Secret, the APAC representative, won over Team Liquid, the EMEA representative, in a dominant show of prowess and skills, ending in a 2-0 scoreline. Team Secret won their map-pick Icebox 13-8 with highlights from Invy and JessieVash.

The Philippines team continued the massacre in Team Liquid's own map-pick Fracture with a 13-7 scoreline. In the process, Secret pulled one of the biggest upsets of VCT LOCK//IN so far.

With this win, Team Secret will advance to the quarter-finals of Omega Bracket, facing off the winner of NAVI versus KRU Esports.
