Riot Games add VALORANT South Africa Servers

Riot Games just announced that VALORANT will be getting South Africa servers soon.

Anna Donlon, SVP and Executive Producer on VALORANT, shared on Twitter that South Africa will receive its own servers soon. Prior to this, South Africa VALORANT user base queued on European servers like Frankfurt, Paris, London and such with quite a high ping (over 110ms) which meant a massive disadvantage. But with the introduction of South Africa servers, it means no more high ping, no more lag spikes, no more disadvantages!

Dedicated South Africa servers to VALORANT are a monumental stride towards fostering a more fair and competitive gaming environment. This will leave a positive impact, and will upgrade the competitive scene, as this might just be the move that lets us see more talents from South Africa in VCT.
