Riot Games surprised VALORANT fans with few treats coming this season. The popular tactical shooter developer announced their plans to add multiple new agents to VALORANT!
John Goscicki, Character Producer for VALORANT at Riot Games, shared that VALORANT is getting three new agents this year.

Two of the announced agents will be an initiator and a sentinel, however, Goscicki refused to give up the class of the third agent, stating that fans have to wait until later this year to find out about the mysterious agent. The third agent could either be in the earliest stages of development or, as fans on Twitter speculate, a new agent class might be added to the game.

Goscicki mentioned that as VALORANT received more and more agents, the developers didn't feel the need to have a perfect one-to-one balance across all classes and roles, however, keeping and maintaining a good balance is still a must.
Agent 22 is set to be added to the game first and soon, according to Goscicki, the agent will have different means of clearing corners and get to locations faster and easier than the other agents. The Character Producer refused to provide more details regarding the agent, but this teaser image popped on the video.
