Riot Games has announced the launch of Premier's open global beta, the in-game tournament structure that leads to professional tournaments and the VALORANT Champions Tour.
So what is Premier? Premier is a new competitive mode in VALORANT that allows friends, teams and individuals with aspirations to go pro to turn their dreams into reality.
Premier was tested on Brazilian servers, and now Riot is announcing their plans to release the new game mode worldwide with the release of the Global Beta.
In the announcement video, Andy Ho, VALORANT's game director at Riot Games, mentioned that Premier will encourage people to make teams and compete throughout VALORANT's Acts in designated dates and maps, winning enough Premier matches will earn the winners a chance to compete in a tournament versus the best teams in that division.
Also in the announcement video, Leo Faria, Head of Valorant Esports at Riot Games, clarified that in the future Premier will replace open qualifiers and be the gate to VALORANT Challengers League, and all of that, from in-game.
The Global Beta will launch in Act III of Episode 6, which will launch sometime in the summer or earlier.
So, that's all we know so far... – Start polishing strategies and gather the best of the best, Premier will be insane.
