Finally! A public closed beta will give a lucky selection of fans the chance to try out Valorant very soon. Riot released a blog post detailing exactly how the beta will work, and how you can get involved.
The Valorant closed beta will go live on April 7 at 2pm CET/ 6am PST. PC players from Canada, United States, Russia, Turkey and Europe will have a chance to be chosen. If you live outside of these regions, Riot are working on rolling out in more areas in the future if possible.
There are three steps to follow to potentially gain access:
1. Register for a Riot account
2. Link your Riot account to a Twitch account
You are not guaranteed to be successful, but Riot will let in more players over time as the server capacity increases, so it’s definitely worth a shot.
There is no specific end date for the beta at this point, but they want it to be as quick as possible in order to get the finished product out on time. With that said, any progress made during the beta will not carry over to launch, but any Valorant points purchased will come across, with a nice 20% thank you bonus.
What are you waiting for? Go and register!
