Whether you’re lucky enough to get your hands on access to the Valorant closed beta, or have to wait till release, having a sensitivity that you feel comfortable with is important. This handy guide on converting sensitivities from a selection of other popular games will have you ready to slay off the rip.
Cloud 9 professional FPS player Jamison “PVPX” Moore shared values given by Valorant developers so they should be pretty reliable. Simply divide your sensitivity from CS:GO, Apex Legends or Overwatch by the suggested number, and it will spit out an equivalent Valorant figure.
VALORANT sensitivity conversions for those wondering:
— C9 PVPX (@PVPX_) April 3, 2020
VALORANT Sensitivity = CSGO or Apex Legends Sensitivity / 3.18181818
VALORANT Sensitivity = OW Sensitivity / 10.6
VALORANT Sensitivity = R6S Sensitivity * 1.2
Consider FOV differences as a factor
The only issue here is with the Rainbow Six Siege value. After some testing, the community are assuming a typo, and suggest that dividing your Siege sensitivity by 12.2 is your best bet. Call of Duty Warzone uses a similar sensitivity system to Overwatch, and it is therefore recommended to try the associated conversion value.
If you don’t play any of these games, but are planning to try out Valorant, there is a solution. Search up “convert (x game) sensitivity to CS:GO”, then use the CS:GO value to translate it to Valorant. With CS:GO being so popular, it is likely that this will work for most major titles.
It’s important to remember that whilst converting your sensitivity from other games will help, it still won’t feel exactly the same. The movement in Valorant is unique and the 103 FOV may well be different to what you’re used to.
