Highest earning Valorant pros of 2022

These are some big names!

As 2022 is coming to a close, let's look at some of the most successful Valorant players this year.

yay - $104,300

No surprise here. Known as El Diablo, yay takes the #1 spot for highest earning Valorant pro in 2022. Most of his success and earnings came from his time on OpTic Gaming, where they were known as the best team in North America. Their biggest accomplishment of 2022 was placing second in VCT Champions in September. Earlier in the offseason, yay played with Team ShaZaM in the FaZe Smeag All Star Weekend tournament, where they placed fifth and took home $2,500. Most recently, yay signed with C9, who are one of the partner teams in the Americas League. We got to see them debut their new roster in the offseason, where they competed in the Red Bull Home Ground #3 tournament. They placed second, taking home $20,000.

Marved - $100,600

Coming in at #2 is Marved. He earned about $99,800 from his time on OpTic Gaming, where they established themselves as one of the best teams in the world. The remaining amount of his earnings from the 2022 season came in the FaZe Smeag All Star Weekend tournament, where he played with Team Shanks. They placed fourth and took home $4,000. In October of this year, Marved revealed on stream that he wasn't quite ready to join a partnered team just yet and that his future was uncertain. But on December 16th, he announced that he was a free agent and would be searching for a new team, confirming his stay in the competitive Valorant scene.

FNS, Victor, crashies, - $99,800

The rest of the ex OpTic Gaming roster places third on this list with nearly $100,000 earned by each player this year. As mentioned before, their biggest accomplishment was placing second in VCT Champions. In addition to that, the team also placed first in Masters Reykjavik and second in Masters Copenhagen. The remainder of the money comes from their placements in VCT NA. In early November, NRG announced that they had signed FNS, Victor, and crashies. We'll get to see them play in the VCT 2023 LOCK//IN tournament in São Paulo, Brazil. The tournament, which will feature all 30 partner teams, will start this upcoming Feburary.

pANcada, saadhak, Sacy, aspas, Less - $94,030

Next up is the former LOUD roster with about $94,030 earned by each player this year. Their biggest accomplishment was winning VCT Champions in September. Some of their other notable accomplishments this year include a second place finish in Masters Reykjavik and an eleventh place in Masters Copenhagen. The remaining earnings come from VCT Brazil. During the offseason, Sacy and pANcada departed the team and they both joined Sentinels. Replacing them for the 2023 season in the Americas League will be tuyz and cauanzin. The first time we'll be able to see this new roster will be in the VCT 2023 LOCK//IN tournament, which starts in February.

ANGE1, Zyppan, ardiis, Shao, SUYGETSU - $69,448

Fifth place on this list belongs to the former FPX roster, with each player earning close to $70,000 this year. FPX had some amazing moments this year and really established themselves as one of the best rosters in the world. Some of their biggest accomplishments this year are a fourth-place finish in VCT Champions and a first-place finish in Masters Copenhagen. They were set to also compete in Masters Reykjavik, but some of their players couldn't travel to Iceland due to restrictions, so therefore they couldn't compete. FPX was awarded eighth place and $25,000 due to this. FPX wasn't one of the ten teams selected to the EMEA partnership league, so the org parted ways with the roster. ANGE1, Zyppan, Shao, and SUYGESTU joined NAVI and ardiis joined the American team NRG. We might be able to see both teams face off against each other in the VCT 2023 LOCK//IN tournament in February.

We got to see some more of the team in the offseason, where they won the Valorant India Invitational by Galaxy Racer tournament and brought home $50,000.
