DetonatioN FocusMe finish VCT 2023 season with zero wins

As the dust settles on VALORANT Champions Tour's current season, one team find themselves reflecting back on a difficult season. DetonatioN FocusMe had a rough time in this season's competitive circuit, which led to a depressing result: Zero Wins.

Detonation FocusMe's bad luck started in ONE Pro Invitational, in which the team lost to both Paper Rex and DRX. In VCT LOCK//IN, DetonatioN became one of the first teams to leave the competition, following a loss to Giants Gaming. And despite DFM's constant promises to the fans that this team will do better in its respective international league, DetonatioN FocusMe failed to put a win in the league, going 0-9. The team then faced off against Talon Esports in the Upper Bracket of the Last Chance Qualifier and lost.

With all of that, DetonatioN FocusMe became the one team across VCT Circuit to end the season without a single win across all the regional and international events and tournaments.

“I couldn’t do anything. This season was frustrating, but I guess that’s how it ends. To all of you who have supported me, I am sorry. Thank you very much,” Park “Seoldam” Sang-min wrote on Twitter.

DetonatioN FocusMe will be taking this off season time to reflect on the mistakes and do whatever it takes to fix the issues. The organization might even consider new options for the team and the coaching staff.
