A New Leak Reveals the Release of a Valorant Movie Produced by Tencent in 2025

A new leak surfaced on the internet suggesting a production underway for a film focused on the first-person shooter game, Valorant, and its captivating lore, and is expected to be released in 2025.

Without a doubt, Riot games has the best reputation for making stunning animations, as evidenced by their collection of cinematic masterpieces released over the years. Examples of such include League of Legends’ Awaken, Warriors, Rise, and Valorant’s episode cinematics and Valorant Champion's Music Videos.

Two years ago, a League of Legends series, Arcane skyrocketed into fame, leaving fans hungry for more as they hope for another season to arrive. The series not only seized the interest of both devoted LoL players and even non-gamers, but also stood tall in the spotlight, bagging and securing multiple awards and nominations thanks to its jaw-dropping animation and flawlessly crafted story.

Following Riot’s success with Arcane, many Valorant fans are hoping for a film revolving around Valorant’s agents and lore, in general. Interestingly, it appears that this request might be fulfilled sooner than expected.

According to a tweet from a renowned source of leaks, Kingdom Laboratories, there's an upcoming Valorant movie slated for release in 2025. The tweet features a link to a YouTube livestream scheduled to begin on October 13, 2024. It uses a thumbnail showcasing a very familiar place, Haven that also was seen on UNITED  TOGETHER cinematic.

In a separate tweet, the leaker presented more information, saying that the Valorant movie is still in development in China by Riot’s parent company, Tencent. They went on to mention that the film's direction will diverge from Netflix's "Arcane," and instead will share similarities with the UNITED TOGETHER cinematic, which was released to celebrate Valorant’s launch in China.

A few hours later, two known and reliable sources of Valorant news, updates and leaks; Valorant Updates and VALORANT Leaks and News, also shared the tweet.

With this news, fans are now brimming with excitement, especially those who have a keen interest in Valorant’s lore. However, as of writing, little is known about the film, nor is it confirmed as Riot Games has not yet addressed this leak with an official statement.
