This Weekend in Modern Warfare: 2x XP, Battle Pass Tiers, Free Access, and more

The announcements just keep coming as Activision and Infinity Ward make the most of the world being at home due to the ongoing COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic. Following the Free Access Weekend announcement for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Multiplayer mode, more in-game events and specials have been announced!

2x XP, Weapon XP, and Tiers

Starting on Friday, April 3rd at 10AM PT and ending on Monday, April 6th at 10AM PT, hop into Modern Warfare or Warzone to take take advantage of 2x XP, 2x Weapon XP, and 2x Battle Pass Tiers. This event will be available across all platforms and modes, so be sure to grind out that Battle Pass before Season 3 launches in less than two weeks*!

Free Access

Friday, April 3rd through Monday, April 6th, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's Multiplayer mode will be free-to-play on all platforms! Players who've only experienced Warzone, or those who may be new to the game entirely, can hop into the 'Stocked Up, Locked Down' playlist!

If you've purchased the Season 02 Battle Pass, head over to the in-game Store and check the 'Just For You' category for a free 10x Battle Pass Tier skip Gift! If you've already reached Tier 100 of this Season's Battle Pass, the Tier Skips will be applied to the Season 03 Battle Pass when it launches later this month*.
