Call of Duty: Modern Warfare & Warzone - May 8th Playlist Update

Infinity Ward has release an all-new Playlist Update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone! Within this update, we see the premiere of Battle Royale's Stimulus mode - in Solo format, as well as the re-addition of Helicopters following a temporary change to remedy certain map exploits.

Update Notes

Warzone

• Replacing Battle Royale Solos with Battle Royale Stimulus Solos
• Height & radius at which parachuting enemy players are called out have been reduced (Battle Royale)
• Adding helicopters back

Multiplayer

• Shipment 24/7 becomes Shipment 10v10
• Adding 3v3 Gunfight Knives Only

Battle Royale Stimulus

Battle Royale Stimulus is an all-new limited time mode in Warzone. We're first seeing it in the Solos format, though it's likely to be rotated into Trios, Quads, and maybe even Duos, in the future. The basics of the mode are as follows...

• Start with $4,500
• If you die with $4,500 on you, you will respawn as if "bought back" (until a certain circle)
• On death, you drop 50% of your cash

Gunfight Knives Only

Gunfight Knives Only is another new mode introduced in this Playlist Update, a melee-focused take on the popular Gunfight 3v3 mode. The important mechanics in this mode are as follows...

• Start with 2 knives
• Custom 10 second restock perk
• Knife pickup locations will also auto pickup with having to hold "use/reload" button (unlike normal OSP)
