Worlds Collide in Fortnite OG Chapter 1 Season 5!

Chapter 1 Season 5 returns in Fortnite OG, bringing back a fan-favorite era packed with rifts, desert biomes, new locations, and iconic loot. 

New Locations, New Reality

Rifts are opening across the Island, warping in new biomes and landmarks. Here’s what’s changed:

Paradise Palms

The Island’s new desert hotspot. Palm trees, pools, and multi-level structures make this a sunny but dangerous drop. Expect high traffic and close-range fights as players compete for early control of the Oasis.

Lazy Links

A peaceful golf resort turned battleground. Between tennis courts and poolside lounging, Lazy Links has plenty of loot—and enough open space for mid-range combat and vehicle hijinks.

Viking Village

High in the snowy mountains near Greasy Grove, this cliffside camp is home to longships, axes, and top-tier loot. With its elevation and narrow approach points, it’s a prime location for early advantage.

OG Loot Returns

Throughout the Season, loot from the original Chapter 1 Season 5 will return in waves. Here’s what’s already available:

• Compact SMG – High fire rate with a 40-round mag
• Heavy Sniper Rifle – 2.5x headshot multiplier and no damage falloff
• Double Barrel Shotgun – Devastating short-range punch
• Rift-To-Go – Escape or engage instantly
• Shockwave Grenade – Send enemies (or teammates) flying
• Suppressed Assault Rifle – Reliable and quiet
• Grappler – Gain high ground fast
• Port-a-Fortress – Drop an instant base mid-fight

Loot carried over from Season 4

A wide array of Chapter 1 classics remain in play:

• ARs: Assault Rifle, Burst, Scoped, Thermal
• SMGs: Suppressed, Drum Gun, Minigun
• Pistols: Revolver, Dual Pistols, Hand Cannon
• Shotguns: Pump, Tactical, Heavy
• Snipers: Bolt-Action, Semi-Auto, Hunting
• Explosives: Grenade Launcher, Rocket Launcher, Guided Missile
• Throwables: Clingers, Impulses, Boogie Bomb, Stink Bomb
• Traps: Damage Trap, Port-A-Bunker, Launch Pad, Bouncer
• Heals: Bandages, Med Kits, Shield Pots, Slurp, Chug Jug, Apples, Mushrooms

Hop in the ATK

Need to escape the storm or just want to drift across the dunes? The All-Terrain Kart (ATK) is back. This four-seater vehicle lets your full squad rotate together and comes with a horn for good measure.

OG Expert Mode

Ready for a real challenge? OG Expert uses old-school matchmaking rules, putting players of all skill levels in the same lobby. Available in Build Duos and Zero Build Solo, this playlist rewards fast thinking and sharp aim.

Kevin is back… eventually

As the Season progresses, the Island will change again. The glowing cube—known to many as Kevin—will appear near Paradise Palms and begin moving. His final destination? Rumor has it he’s headed for Loot Lake.

Chapter 1 Season 5 OG Pass

The OG Pass returns with 45 tiers of rewards inspired by the original Chapter 1 Season 5.

Unlock XP by playing any Fortnite experience, and earn both free and premium rewards. The premium track is available for 1,000 V-Bucks or through Fortnite Crew.

Included outfits:

• Redline Racer – Unlocked instantly with the Pass
• Riftreaver Drift – A mysterious, rift-powered style
• Tide Strider – A deep-sea warrior with a slick look

The pass also features accessories like the Trickster’s Shield Back Bling, Redline Scout Glider, and the Sea Bobber Pickaxe. Alt styles for outfits and accessories unlock as you level up.
