We all know the World Cup is one of the biggest Esports tournaments ever. In this tournament, the top 100 solo and duo players worldwide competed to win $30 million. This article will show what happened to some of these players!

PSALM

Harrison "PSALM" Chang has been a competitive player who has never had top performances in online tournaments. Despite this, he placed second in the world cup finals. His characteristic is to be the ability to adapt to any meta. It is no coincidence that he boasts top results in every game he has competed in his professional career.

On 5 April 2020, he tweeted a statement saying that he wanted to start competing on valorant: "My dream is to be the most decorated competitor in gaming history. I have my eyes set on Valorant next. Thank you Fortnite for everything. I was given the chance to achieve what only a few had the pleasure of accomplishing."

On Valorant, he represented Dignitas for several months. Since November last year, he has represented The Guard but has been on the inactive roster since January 2022.

Benjyfishy

Benjy David Fish 'Benjyfishy' has been a pillar of competitive Fortnite for several years. At fourteen years old, he joined NRG as a player with crazy results. The name started to become famous as he managed to qualify for the world cup finals in the first two weeks of qualifying.

He, along with Mitr0 and mongraal, was part of one of the best trios in Fortnite history. The several tournaments won together are among the best achievements of his career. We also found victory at the DreamHack Anaheim 2020 and the DreamHack Open in October 2021. One of his regrets is undoubted that he never won an FNCS.

On 24 June 2022, he announced he would be switching to valorant.

The pro player confirmed he doesn't enjoy Fortnite anymore, which is why he switched to a different title. He has decided to do what he enjoys playing. Even if he chooses to quit Fortnite, he will continue with NRG. Even if Benjy has already impressed the community with his skills, we don't know yet if he's gonna ever compete in valorant.

UnknownxArmy

Dominick Green "UnknownxArmy" started playing Fortnite in February 2018 on the PlayStation. For quite some time, he grinded wagers managing to buy himself a gaming computer. His real career began in December 2018 on twitch. He managed to qualify for the world cup in the third week of qualifying. His name immediately became very viral as he was the first controller player to qualify. During season 1 of chapter 2, Dominick reaches his peak as a player, becoming one of the world's best fighters and winning 4 solo cash cups and the FNCS Grand Finals in squads.

In march 2021, he announced his exit from NRG, and this is where the end of his career began, producing less and less content and bringing fewer and fewer results.

To this day, he no longer produces content on youtube, has been suspended from Twitter, and is inactive on Instagram. From time to time, he continues to stream Fortnite on twitch, but his career has ended by now.
