The story of MrSavage

MrSavage: Fortnite pro since 2018. World Cup standout, triumphant duos with Benjyfishy. Notable wins, FNCS success, and 2023 FNCS Global Championship qualifier.

MrSavage's career began in 2018, and he has already made his mark in the Polaris LAN Pro Series. He continues to shine in tournaments like the Gauntlet, Scallywag, and Luxe Cup and manages to sign with the NRG team. The World Cup arrives, and as everyone expected, MrSavage will dominate the competition, winning almost every week in both solo and duo with Benjyfishy, and qualifying for both World Cup finals. He will place 14th in the duo events and 29th in the solo events.

With the introduction of trios in Season X, MrSavage found himself competing alongside Rojo and Itemm. Together, they secured a seventh-place finish in the finals. However, when it came to squads, he teamed up with Tohaj, BELAEU, and Kaxie, but failed to make it to the finals. A few months later, MrSavage made a triumphant return to the Fortnite scene, dominating various solo tournaments. He even took the win at DreamHack Anaheim 2020. From that point on, he mostly teamed up with Idrop in duos, achieving notable results, but nothing crazy.

Then, on May 15th, a legendary duo was born - MrSavage and Benjyfishy. These two Fortnite legends took the competitive scene by storm. They dominated various Cash Cups, while MrSavage continued to excel in solo tournaments. When Chapter 2 Season 3 rolled around and trios were once again introduced, Mr Savage made the strategic choice to team up with Benjyfishy and LeTshe. Their collaboration bore fruit when they won the first week of the Cash Cup. Their most notable performance in an FNCS came later when they finished eighth in the following season.

Towards the end of 2020, in preparation for the Frosty Frenzy tournament, Benjyfishy and MrSavage decided to part ways with LeTsHe. They started playing with Nayte, who was one of the best players in France and Europe at the time. This roster change proved to be profitable, as they amassed a substantial amount of prize money. In early 2021, Mr. Savage embarked on another trio adventure, this time teaming up with IDrop and Tayson. Together, they secured an eighth-place finish in the FNCS. However, MrSavage's best FNCS performance to date came in Chapter 2 Season 6, when he and teammates Refsgaard and Endretta finished second.

In the seasons that followed, Mr. Savage's performance fluctuated, with both impressive and modest results in both solo and trio competitions. This pattern continued until October 2021, when he reunited with Benjyfishy for a triumphant return to the Fortnite scene. Their collaboration not only marked their return to duos but also resulted in a win at the October DreamHack Open. In early 2022, duos were back in the spotlight, and MrSavage was right there with Benjyfishy. The dynamic duo consistently placed and qualified in weekly events. However, their journey ended with a 45th-place finish in Chapter 3 Season 2.

As the seasons came and went, teammates changed, but MrSavage remained determined to win a championship. He even competed in the 2022 FNCS Invitational alongside IDrop, securing a 31st-place finish.

At the beginning of 2023, MrSavage continued his competitive journey in duos, this time teaming up with IDrop. Together, they placed 32nd in the Major 1 finals. Shortly thereafter, the formidable duo of Vadeal and MrSavage was formed, and from the start, they made waves in the competitive scene. Their synergy propelled them to an eighth-place finish in the finals of Major 2, and they also competed together in gamers8 2023, where they secured a 17th-place finish. Although they faced a tougher challenge in the Major 3 finals, finishing in 43rd place, their determination paid off when they won the FNCS Last Chance Major, earning a spot in the FNCS Global Championship.
