It’s all about precision and chaos as an assortment of Primal Bows descend upon Fortnite Chapter 3.
Unsurprisingly with the FNCS now in full swing, Fortnite Chapter 3’s crazy content schedule has slowed down a little. Epic won’t want to make any huge changes that could impact competitive until the tournament is over, but that doesn’t mean no updates at all!
Today’s February 22 hotfix marks the beginning of “Bownanza Week”. Look out for a selection of weapons from Chapter 2’s Primal sixth season as you travel around the new map.

Primal Flame Bows, Primal Stink Bows, Mechanical Explosive Bows, Mechanical Shockwave Bows, and Arrows, have all been temporarily unvaulted. Find this long-lost loot in Chests and on the floor around the Island.
Note: None of these Bows will be available in competitive playlists.
With C3:S1’s Hunter Bolt-Action Sniper Rifle being somewhat underwhelming to use, fans will be excited to get back to unleashing hell from range. What’s more, you can also earn a heap of bonus XP by completing the special Bownanza Week Quests.
Bownanza Week will run until March 1 at 9AM ET, when a new Wild Week will take over. Expect another unique theme, the return of other popular items, and even more XP!
v19.40 has been added to the staging servers and is expected to release March 1st!

That’s not all that’s coming on March 1. The v19.40 patch has been added to the staging servers and leakers believe it will drop on that same Tuesday.
Though things may have calmed down a bit in the last couple of weeks, they may well start to heat up again for the end of the season. Many believe that Epic chose to condense the FNCS format and leave a large gap before Season 2 to allow for a big event or significant map changes.
