Meet Criizux, the Colombian superstar!

One of the superstars of the Spanish community is gaining more and more international recognition. Cristian 'Criizux' Pinto is a 17-year-old Colombian player. This is undoubtedly due to his incredible desire to improve and become the best, his style of play, and his dedication.

How did you get into gaming? And how did your career on Fortnite start?

"I got into gaming because of my cousin. He used to play many online games on a laptop, so I started playing them too.
I started playing Fortnite because I used to watch some cod YouTubers, and they uploaded a gameplay of Fortnite, and I loved it
my career basically began when I bought my pc, I was playing the game after school, for a good 4 hours, and then summer came, the world cup came, and I started taking it serious"

When and how did you realize you had talent and could make a living from Fortnite?

"I realized it when I was already making money. I never looked at it in that way. I just really enjoyed the game and being competitive."

I believe that many underestimate the real work behind a professional player. Can you tell us what a typical day in Criizux is like?

"My classic routing starts from waking up, eating breakfast, brushing my teeth, then I start doing my homework, I eat, then I do exercise either at home or at the gym, after that I start stream for a good 3-4 hours if theres a tourney round 5-6. It's important to specify that things happen in everyone's life, and it isn't easy to stay focused, but I always try my best."

Besides training, you also bring content to social media for you and your team. Do you have time to do anything else during your day?

"Yeah, I have time for other things like going to the gym and maybe going out with my friends or family. It's all about managing your time, which I have to work on, but I'm getting better!"

After your discrete success in the trio days with Jelty and Andy Vencha, will we see you in the top ranks again this year?

"This has been a rough chapter for some of us, including me, and I cannot lie, I lost motivation, but right now, I feel like I want to win again, and I want to make it happen, so yeah, you guys will see me again doing my best and being the best."

Do you think Fusion Esports has helped you on your path? And how?

"Fusion has been the best thing that happened to me, they have helped me in many ways that I cannot describe, both as a player and as a person outside the game, and I will never thank them enough for that."
