How to get the new Among Us collab items in Fortnite

A pair of Among Us-themed cosmetics are now available in Fortnite.

Online social deduction game Among Us took the world by storm in the summer of 2020, when a handful of popular content creators stumbled across it and began to play. The aim is simple. Detect the bad guys and vote them out before they do too much damage!

Word of a potential Fortnite x Among Us collab has been circulating for some time, but until now, we’ve had nothing official. Epic did however release their own Among Us spinoff, “Imposters”, as a custom mode in Fortnite Creative.

Finally though, Innersloth has announced a year-long partnership with Epic Games to bring Among Us-inspired cosmetics into the Fortnite universe. This includes both a Back Bling and Emote, which will be available until June 9, 2023.

Crewmate Back Bling

Strap one of the cute yet sus Among Us characters to your back with the new Crewmate Back Bling. This comes with ten different style options based on Crewmate colours, so you’re sure to be able to match with all your favorite skins.

Distraction Dance Emote

This Emote pays homage to another Innersloth project, “The Henry Stickmin Collection”. The name doesn’t lie, it will definitely get people’s attention!

How to unlock the Among Us items

Anyone who purchases Among Us or an Among Us Stars Pack add-on from the Epic Games Store between now and June 9, 2023 will receive both the Crewmate Back Bling and Distraction Dance Emote automatically.

If you already own Among Us, you will have to purchase a Star Pack to get the cosmetics. Among Us is currently on sale for $4.99 USD and the cheapest Star Pack costs $1.99.

Epic has already confirmed that the Back Bling and Emote will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop at a later date, but haven’t yet said when that is likely to be.
