Battle Royale Changes

Drop from the Battle Bus into... Springfield? The 80-player Springfield Island brings a fast-paced, back-to-basics Battle Royale experience straight from the minds behind The Simpsons.

The map blends The Simpsons’ hand-drawn style with Fortnite’s cel-shading, featuring landmarks like the Simpson House, Krusty Burger, and the Springfield Nuclear Plant. Giant donuts crash down mid-match, clone mobs wander the streets, and quirky world events keep every drop unpredictable.

The Springfield update rotates in several classic and new weapons:

Battle Pass

Battle in cel-shaded Springfield as your favorite residents! The Springfield Battle Pass features Outfits such as Homer, Marge, Ned Flanders, Blinky Fishstick, and Springfielder Peely.

Sidekicks

Fortnite now features Sidekicks, customizable companions that follow players across gamemodes. They react to emotes, eliminations, and world events!

Players can design each Sidekick’s look once (traits like color and shape stay permanent) while names and accessories can be changed anytime. Accessories such as hats and hoodies are earned with Sidekick Points gained by playing.

Peels is available now in the Battle Pass, with Bonesy, Spike, and Lil’ Raptor coming to the Item Shop on November 7. Owners of the Bonesy Back Bling automatically unlock his Sidekick version.

Animated Shorts Every Week

Each week, new The Simpsons mini-episodes premiere directly inside Fortnite (Quests tab → Animated Shorts) and stream on Disney+ under The Simpsons Collection.

• November 17: Multiplidiocy
• November 24: The Incredible Bulk

Every short introduces gameplay changes, items, or Sidekick rewards tied to that week’s theme.

Twitch Drop

On Twitch from November 1 at 4:30 PM ET to November 2 at 11:59 PM ET, watch 30 minutes cumulative of any stream in the Fortnite category to unlock The Siiimpsooooons… Wrap.
