Fortnite’s controller king “Reet” signs with TSM

TSM double down on Fortnite with this latest addition to the roster.

Popular Fortnite pro and creator Nathan “Reet” Amundson left Xtra Gaming in November, following allegations from other members against the management team. The org collapsed shortly after, with Razer terminating its partnership and the CEO stepping down, before all social media presence vanished.

Since then, Reet has been a Free Agent, actively looking for a new place to call home. His impressive list of accomplishments in 2021, both in-game and on-stream, make him more than worthy of a spot on a tier 1 organisation.

Well, it appears the right offer finally arrived. On Saturday, Reet took to Twitch to announce that he has officially joined TSM FTX!

One of the original titans of Fortnite esports, TSM somewhat backed off on their investment in the game over the last couple of years. However, they are building their roster up once more, this time seemingly with more of a focus on content creation.

Reet joins Co1azo, Commandment, Emad, and Ops on the TSM line up, which may continue to grow throughout 2022. TSM posted the news with the caption, “Champions belong on a championship org”, perhaps indicating their intent to add further big names in the future.

From w-keyer to the winner of the most recent FNCS and the FNCS Grand Royale, Reet truly has become a champion. He has already won the first Duo Cash Cup of the season alongside Rehx and shows no sign of slowing down.

The only question remaining is can he be called the best controller player in the world while playing on NA West? Mero and Deyy have managed similar accomplishments on what is unanimously regarded as a harder region, but it’s certainly close between the three of them.

Time will tell, but regardless, this is a fantastic pick up for TSM. Reet will undoubtedly continue to dominate throughout Fortnite Chapter 3 and be a regular fixture in any org produced content.
