Epic Games has announced changes to the pricing and value of Fortnite V-Bucks, reducing the number of V-Bucks players receive in most purchase bundles starting March 19, 2026.
New Fortnite V-Bucks Bundle Values
Beginning March 19, players will receive fewer V-Bucks for the same price across all major purchase tiers.
New bundle values will be:
- $8.99 pack – 800 V-Bucks (previously 1,000)
- $22.99 pack – 2,400 V-Bucks (previously 2,800)
- $36.99 pack – 4,500 V-Bucks (previously 5,000)
- $89.99 pack – 12,500 V-Bucks (previously 13,500)
However, purchases made through Epic’s payment system on PC, mobile, or web will still earn 20% back in Epic Rewards, which can be used in Fortnite, other Epic games, or the Epic Games Store.
Battle Pass Changes
Epic is also adjusting the cost and rewards of the Fortnite Battle Pass.
The Battle Pass will now cost 800 V-Bucks instead of 1,000, but players will also only earn 800 V-Bucks by completing it. Previously, players could earn 1,000 V-Bucks plus an additional 500 through Bonus Rewards.
The Battle Bundle (Battle Pass plus 25 levels) will drop slightly in price from 2,800 V-Bucks to 2,600 V-Bucks.
Changes to Other Fortnite Passes
Other Fortnite passes will also receive price adjustments starting with their next releases.
- OG Pass – 800 V-Bucks (previously 1,000)
- Music Pass – 1,200 V-Bucks (previously 1,400)
- LEGO Pass – 1,200 V-Bucks (previously 1,400)
Fortnite Crew Rewards Reduced
Fortnite Crew subscribers will also see a change to their monthly rewards. The V-Bucks grant will decrease from 1,000 to 800 V-Bucks per month.
