Fortnite is kicking off its end-of-year celebrations in style with a new season, Chapter 5 Season 5, dubbed Fortnite Remix! While Fortnite has taken us on nostalgia trips before, this season puts a unique twist on it, bringing back iconic elements from Chapter 2 and adding special events featuring international music stars. Here’s a breakdown of all the latest updates and features to get you prepped for Fortnite Remix!

Chapter 2 Map

Players will jump back into the beloved Chapter 2 map, featuring fan-favorite locations like Weeping Woods, Retail Row, and The Rig. But things won’t stay static, POIs will transform as global music stars make their mark on the island. Expect fresh events and limited-time areas throughout the month.

Artists Takeovers: A Star-Studded Island Transformation

Throughout the season, famous artists will bring their flair to Fortnite’s map with themed zones and events. Here’s what you can look forward to:

• Week 1 (Nov 2): Snoop Dogg kicks things off with “The Doggpound” replacing The Agency, complete with a gold-tinged bridge and special challenges.
• Week 2 (Nov 7): Eminem brings “Mom’s Spaghetti” to the Grotto, turning the iconic underground area into a themed restaurant.
• Week 3 (Nov 14): Ice Spice takes over Shark Island, transforming it into “Ice Isle,” adding a snowy vibe to the island.
• Week 4 (Nov 21): Juice WRLD tribute with “WRLD Point,” celebrating his legacy with an island location and special rewards.

The New Remix Battle Pass

For this special, condensed season, Fortnite Remix introduces a unique Remix Battle Pass. With only five exclusive skins, each inspired by the musical icons featured this season, players will find themselves unlocking vibrant, unique outfits that add a fresh vibe to their locker.

Fortnite Reload Map and Solos Mode

Fortnite Reload, the fast-paced, 40-player mode, now boasts a new desert-themed oasis map, rotating with the original every 30 minutes. And for solo players, Fortnite has added a Solos mode to Reload, making it easier to jump in and enjoy without a squad.

Fortnite Kicks: Shoe Customization Arrives!

Starting November 12, a new cosmetic category called Kicks debuts in Fortnite. Players will now be able to customize their character’s footwear with brands like Nike and Jordan or other Fortnite-original designs. By spring 2025, Epic Games promises compatibility with 95% of all skins, giving players tons of footwear options.

Return of the Classics: Vehicles

Vehicles make a comeback with some exciting options. Along with the classic Choppas and Motorboats, the 1966 Cadillac DeVille joins the lineup, ready to take players across the map in style.

Old-School Weapons are Back

In Fortnite Remix, prepare to wield classic Chapter 2-era weapons! Here’s the complete list of returning items:
