Fortnite Creative Mayhem Valentine’s event: $100k prize pool, FREE Pickaxe + play with top streamers

Look out for Lachlan, Grefg and more in the ultimate Fortnite deathrun contest.

Following a successful debut last year, Fortnite’s community-centric Creative Mayhem event is returning for 2022. The theme is “Love is in the air”, and you’ll certainly love some of the goodies up for grabs this time round.

Free Cosmetics

It’s easy to get involved in the festivities! Simply go to the official Creative Mayhem website to sign up and earn your first reward: the Love Reigns Emoticon.

Next, by playing 30 minutes on the Creative Mayhem map, you will unlock the new Mace of Hearts Pickaxe. Find the map in the Creative Hub, or type in the code 7266-3680-0768.

Go for Glory

There’s more to all this than a couple of fresh pieces for you Fortnite locker. The best Creative Mayhem players will get the chance to compete alongside their favorite content creators in the main event, with big cash prizes on the line.

To qualify, submit your quickest deathrun time via the Creative Mayhem website. You will need to record your run-through and upload the video to YouTube as proof. You’ll also be prompted to select your preferred creator to team up with.

Note: You must choose a creator from your own region.

The deadline for entries is 9 AM ET on February 14. They will then be reviewed and qualifying participants will be notified after February 22.

The Main Event

Made it through qualifiers with one of the fastest times? Congratulations, but there’s one more stop on your way through to the finals!

You and your chosen creator will now battle it out against the seven other teams in your region/country. Only one team will be crowned champion in each region and progress to the Global Finals.

On March 12, the eight remaining creators and their communities will compete in the Global Finals for a share of the $100,000 prize pool. Let the games begin!
