Fortnite Competitive Awards 2022: All you need to know!

It's that time again! For the third consecutive year, Fortnite will have its competitive awards.

As we bid a joyful farewell to 2022, a year that gave us a return to LAN tournaments and so many other joys, let's take a final look at the year by praising all those who performed at their best.

This time I would like to have you focus only on the positive aspects of this year, in which we experienced everything. The best Fortnite moments of the year, the best players, duos, or teams.

Today I am here to tell you about a project that has been going on for two years. More than 50 panellists, including myself, got together and nominated 3 players in the different categories for the community to vote for.

Taylor, Owner of the project, said: "The goal of Competitive Awards 2022 is to create an objective award process for the competitive Fortnite scene to give credit to anyone who deserves it."

How does it work?
The vote comprises players, analysts, the community, and others. There are two types of awards: the first (CompAwards) is based 75% on the panellists' votes, while the remaining 25% is determined by the community. Secondly, a community vote will strictly determine another set of awards (Community Awards). The panellists will nominate the community awards, but the winners are determined by a community poll.

How can I vote?
You will be able to vote on Twitter, or a form will be posted on the competitive subreddit.

Where can I watch it?
The show will take place on Taylor's YouTube channel on December 30 at 3pm EST.
