Fortnite 39.50 Update: Lantern Fest 2026, Solo Leveling & Much More!

The Fortnite v39.50 Update has officially landed today, February 19, 2026. As the final major content drop of Chapter 7 Season 1, blending massive anime crossovers, the kickoff of Lantern Fest 2026 and much more!

Solo Leveling Collaboration

The most anticipated arrival in v39.50 is the Solo Leveling crossover. After months of rumors, Sung Jin-woo has officially arrived on the Island.

• Skins: Sung Jin-woo, Cha Hae-in, and Igris the Bloodred are now in the files.
• Shadow Monarch Style: Sung Jin-woo includes a reactive style that transforms him as the match progresses.
• Release Info: While the files were added today, these are expected to rotate into the Item Shop tonight or tomorrow, February 20.

Lantern Fest 2026 & Reload Rank Reset

Lantern Fest returns for 2026 with a heavy focus on the Reload game mode.

• The Aaliyah Skin: This year’s festival mascot, Aaliyah, has been revealed.
• Free Rewards: You can compete in the Lantern Fest Duos Cup on March 3 to earn the Aaliyah skin for free. Additionally, new Lantern Fest quests are live, offering free sprays and emoticons.
• Reload Rank Reset: All ranks in the Reload mode have been reset today with this Reload Ranked Season lasting until August 18th 2026. You’ll need to play one placement match to see where you stand for the climb to Unreal this season.
• 8-Player Teams: From February 19 at 9 AM ET to February 25 at 9 AM ET, 8-player teams (4 squad+4fills) can complete three Reload Quests to unlock the “Bring it!” Spray and eight to unlock the “Love the Game” Emoticon.

The Seven & Story Progress

The narrative is shifting toward the return of The Seven.

• New Weapon (Leaked): The Seven Cannon has been added to the game files. While it may not be in the loot pool immediately today, look for it to appear around February 23.
• Dark Voyager Quests: New story trials are now available that further explore the Dark Voyager's influence on the current map.
