Clix said he wants to find “the next big thing” to join him in the new NRG house.
Cody “Clix” Conrod signed to NRG Esports back in July 2020. Since then, he’s exploded his personal brand and become undeniably the biggest streamer in Fortnite.
He has recently been expanding his content outside of gaming, plus working on clothing company DR3AMIN. In August, the Twitch star even produced and released his debut rap single “Florida Water”.
Now, Clix is looking for a creator who wants to follow a similar path…
Finding the Next Big Thing

For the past couple of months, Clix, Bucke, and Deyy have been living together in the NRG Summer House along with some other friends.
According to Clix, there will be another content house soon, and he’s after a new housemate!
In a recent stream, Clix asked his chat “Who should I pick up to NRG? Cause they been asking me”.
He made it clear that this new signing doesn’t need to be a Fortnite pro, but instead someone with potential to be the “next big thing”. They would ideally move into the new house, collaborate on exciting IRL content, and fit in with the existing crew.
Who’s in the Running to Join NRG?
Clix did mention a couple of people he thinks could be a good match.
One obvious candidate is his current Fortnite duo, Duke. Duke parted ways with Dignitas on Monday so is currently a Free Agent.
Today we part ways with @dukezfn

We wish him all the best in the future and can't wait to see what he achieves 💛 pic.twitter.com/dak5ZUtW0t
The pair have great chemistry on stream, and being another Fortnite player, it would be easy for Duke to gel with everyone else. He’s been streaming a lot lately, and though we said placements weren’t important, his 2 FNCS wins are a nice plus.
Another name Clix mentioned was Paper. They played together in a recent Trios Cash Cup and instantly hit it off.
Paper has a reputation for being one of the funniest characters in the community, making him a perfect fit for something like this. He is banned on Twitch and currently streams on YouTube, but this is also the case for Derek Graz, who lived in the Summer House with Clix without any issues.
