How to Unlock the R1 Shadowhunter Crossbow in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone

Following the recent release of the E-Tool, yet another all-new weapon is now available to unlock in Season Two of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone! The R1 Shadowhunter is a crossbow which launches lethal bolt projectiles to silently eliminate enemies. It can be unlocked free of charge simply by completing an in-game challenge.

Players who completed challenges relating to the R1 Shadowhunter during its accidental release will retain any progress they've already earned toward the unlock challenge, and those who completed it early will start at 14/15 match completions for a streamlined unlock process.

R1 Shadowhunter

Launches lethal bolt projectiles to silently eliminate enemies. Excellent hip fire accuracy with good handling. Bolts must be manually loaded.

The R1 Shadowhunter is the fifth new weapon to be introduced in Season Two, with one more expected to release in the coming months. Stay tuned for challenge details once the final weapon arrives.

Unlock Challenge

• Using a weapon with no attachments, get 3 One Shot, One Kill medals in 15 different matches.

Bundle

If you'd prefer to skip the line and immediately unlock the R1 Shadowhunter, you can purchase a Bundle from the Store which contains a Blueprint for this weapon. Upon doing so, you will be granted immediate access to the base variant.

At the time of release, there are two Bundles and Blueprints for the R1 Shadowhunter; purchase the Archaic Range Bundle for 1,200 COD Points, or the Rookie Mistake Bundle for 1,500 COD Points, to gain immediate access to the weapon.
