How to Unlock the Sai in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone

An all-new melee weapon is available now in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone. The Sai is a dual-wield sword-like weapon, capable of strategic, 1-hit kills. Across all Warzone, Multiplayer, and Zombies, players can get their hands on the Sai via the ongoing event, in-game challenges, or a Store Bundle - starting today.

Not a fan of melee weapons? Season Six is just around the corner with all-new ranged weapons.

Sai

Dual wield melee. Famous for its use in the Japanese martial art of Ninjutsu. Lightweight and versatile with fast attacks. 2-hits to kill from the front with 1-hit backstabs.

The Numbers Event

Those who complete all nine challenges within Warzone OR Black Ops Cold War during the event will receive a new functional melee weapon: the Sai.

Embrace Perseus’ broadcast and be rewarded in the Numbers event in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone.

Unlock Challenges

Warzone & Multiplayer

• Using a Melee weapon, kill an enemy without receiving returning fire in 15 different completed matches.

Zombies

• Using a primary Melee weapon, earn 150 Butcher Medals (5 rapid Melee kills).

Bundle

If you'd prefer to skip the line and immediately unlock the Sai, you can purchase a Bundle from the Store which contains a Blueprint for this weapon. Upon doing so, you will be granted immediate access to the Blueprint, however, you will need to complete challenges to unlock the base weapon.

Spectral Sai

Introducing the first Legendary Blueprint for the Dual Sai Melee Weapon. Adapt and overcome any opponent with the Spectral Sai Bundle.
