How to Unlock the CARV.2 Assault Rifle in Black Ops Cold War and Warzone

As the mid-season update for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold war and Warzone Season Three approaches, an all-new Assault Rifle has been added to the ever-growing pool of weaponry. The CARV.2 is a burst rifle capable of a quick time-to-kill, it can be unlocked by completing an in-game challenge.

The CARV.2 is just one of many new weapons that players can expect to see released throughout Season Three. Amidst game-changing balance updates to Warzone, it's sure to find its place in the Battle Royale meta.

CARV.2

Burst fire tactical rifle. Moderate firepower with improved fire rate and recoil control. Effective at mid-to-long range.

Unlock Challenge

Multiplayer & Warzone

• Using Tactical Rifles, rapidly kill 2 or more players in 10 different matches.

Zombies

• Using Tactical Rifles, get 250 Longshot kills.

Bundle

If you'd prefer to skip the line and immediately unlock the CARV.2, you can purchase a Bundle from the Store which contains a Blueprint for this weapon. Upon doing so, you will be granted immediate access to the base variant.

At the time of release, there is just one Bundle and Blueprint for the CARV.2; purchase the Plastik Prototype Bundle for 1,200 COD Points to gain immediate access to the weapon.
