Jack Wall is an ASCAP award-winning and BAFTA nominated composer best known for his rich, cinematic scores found within popular video game franchises such as Call of Duty: Black Ops 2, 3, & 4, Mass Effect I & II, the Myst series, Jade Empire and several other franchises winning multiple awards for his work.
With Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Jack Wall will be returning once again to compose the soundtrack for Treyarch's latest entry in the Black Ops series. This announcement was paired with the release of the main theme for the title, giving players a hint of what to expect when the full soundtrack is released on Friday, November 13th.
Cold War
Listen to Cold War, the main theme from Jack Wall’s original score for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Music composed and produced by Jack Wall, featuring the LA Singers and Nashville Music Scoring.
For those unfamiliar with Jack Wall's work, choosing just one track to listen to should be considered a crime. However, we highly recommend that you listen to Rare Earth Elements from the Call of Duty: Black Ops II soundtrack. This, alongside the Black Ops Cold War main theme, should give you a genuine understanding of Jack Wall's craft.
Echoes of the Damned
Black Ops Cold War will also feature original tracks from other artists, such as Kevin Sherwood, who is known for his musical contributions to Treyarch's notorious Zombies mode. Shortly after the announcement of Jack Wall's involvement in the project, Treyarch also released the main theme for the latest iteration on the Zombies mode, titled Echoes of the Damned.
Composed and produced by Kevin Sherwood. Additional arrangement by James McCawley. Mixed and mastered by Ryan Garigliano. While not composed by Jack Wall, this track is another must-hear!
