Preload Dates and Download Sizes for Black Ops Cold War

With less than ten days until Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases across all platforms, Activision has provided a schedule for pre-loading as well as further details regarding the game's overall file size. Given this information, you can easy estimate when you should start installing the game and if it'll be ready to play the moment it releases on Friday, November 13th!

Pre-Loading Schedule

Pre-loading will be available in the coming days before the game’s November 13th launch for all platforms, including next-generation consoles once they arrive. If you purchased a digital version of the game, but it is not downloading during the pre-load period, visit your platform’s respective first-party store and follow the prompts to begin the download.

• PlayStation 4: Thursday, November 5th at 9PM PT
• PlayStation 5: Thursday, November 12th
• Xbox One: Thursday, November 5th at 9PM PT
• Xbox Series X|S: Tuesday, November 10th
• PC: Tuesday, November 10th at 10AM PT

File Size

In order to pre-load Black Ops Cold War, you must have the following free drive space on your platform. This size is expected to increase as Black Ops Cold War is updated throughout the months. Players can choose to uninstall specific game mode packs, such as for Campaign or Zombies, in order to reduce the game’s overall file size.

• Xbox One: 93GB
• Xbox Series X|S: 136GB
• PC: 82GB (125GB Ultra Graphics, 33GB Multiplayer Only)
