The Best Way to Play as Astra

Before returning, it temporarily blocks the enemy’s vision with a blast of nebula smoke for about 2 second. Astra Ultimate ability can only be used when she is in Astral form. The ability breaks the battlefield in half by building a huge wall anywhere on the map. Player can pass through the wall, while bullet cannot and enemy footstep/sound of spike defused can’t be heard anymore- At pistol round depends on your team composition, map, and your gameplay, you can buy 3 stars and frenzy/ghost or you can buy 4 stars to fully support your teammates

- Astra player should have strong aim because the best way to play is sneak or lurk and give information to your team when you also can support team from far, so don’t ever die really fast every single round. You can be the most last man in the game.

- Always remember map knowledge, choke spot, common spot, and positioning are crucial

- You can use stars to fake site by using Dissipate too or at least use Dissipate to avoid enemy flash at common spots.

- Use cosmic divide is really good when you want to keep some of stars to post plant, like at Ascent A you can use cosmic divide at Heaven and Smoke at the Doors/Gate and use nova pulse to clear 1 angle (like triple box, generator, high ground). Then you still get 2 stars to post plant

-For post plant, if you do open plant you can combo Nova Pulse and Gravity Well near the spike plant at the same time to avoid their defuse and delete the enemy easily


- The same way as a attacker at pistol round it’s all depends on your gameplay, team composition and map

- If you are solo smoker always place stars near the entrances of both sites so you can help your team even if your site doesn’t get attacked, but if your teammates double controller you can places star after get information from team

- You can also combo with gravity well or nova pulse near the entrances smoke way. So when enemy entry the site at least the second or thirdman can be delayed to entry or you/your taem can kill them. The firstman commonly can escape from your nova pulse or gravity well especially fast duelist agent like Jett, Raze, Neon, Yoru but always remember don’t too focus to kill the firstman, you can easily kill the second or third man.

- Using stars to map control as a defender also good, you can play aggressive to control the map like Ascent you can smoke the Mid Top or Mid Link and get control of mid and play aggressive with your team. In Lotus you can also control the A Rubble if your team want to control it and force enemy to push B or C which your sentinel should play at C or B and can win game easily

- Use ability to Contest Orbs also can be played as a defender, using ability like nova pulse or gravity well and one way smoke in early game isn’t a bad way to play astra.
