VALORANT's Swift Play will stay permanently

The popular game mode is set to stay in VALORANT!

VALORANT's Swift Play, which was released last December in its beta phase, is no longer in beta!

The short game mode, that brings the unranked VALORANT experience on a faster pace, is loved all across the VALORANT fanbase. It was designed to be an alternative to Spike Rush, which is another fun game mode that the game offers. Swift Play was designed to be one of the in-game-modes among others like Escalation, Replication, Snowball Fight, joining the aforementioned game-modes in the rotation.

However, with the recent VALORANT announcement, Swift Play will no longer be in beta, and the more exciting news; Swift Play will stay permanently in game! The news come after the game mode earned the fanbase's love and skyrocketed to popularity.

Swift Play will also receive new updates regularly from now on.

Valorant Swift Play: How it works

The popular game mode does not contribute to an individual's competitive ranking, and it is considered a shorter version of Unrated. The fast-paced mode is a five versus five, the first team to win five rounds wins the match. Each half has four rounds.

The set credits for it is:

  • 800 Credits - Round 1 of each half.
  • 2400 Credits - Round 2 of each half.
  • 4250 Credits - Round 3 of each half.
  • 4250 Credits - Round 4 of each half.

The second round can have an additional six-hundreds credits for the pistol round winners. It also features a standard kill bonus, an additional two-hundred for that and another additional three-hundred for Spike Plants. The game speeds up the Ultimate points as well, guaranteeing two pints at the start of each half.

The fun game mode Swift Play is designed to be a 15 mins experience or less, depending on the momentum of each round.  And with this game mode staying in VALORANT from now on, the game will continue to grow!
