Sentinels Part Ways With Head Coach Following Loss Streak

A sudden change but a change was needed for Sentinels.

Sentinels is one of the most sought-out for VALORANT teams in the world, known for winning the first international VALORANT event back a while ago, as well as their talented roster. However, in a recent announcement, Sentinels revealed that the organization will be splitting paths with their head coach, Don "Syyko" Muir.

According to Sentinels' CEO, the decision was a difficult one to make, but it is not out of reach to think that the decision was made due to recent poor performance from Sentinels roster. Sentinels picked up two VALORANT Champions and one of the most talented prospects from NA to strengthen their team and better their odds in tournaments and competitions. However, Sentinels were not up to their usual standards, the team's recent defeat to NA rivals NRG Esports and Leviatan was difficult for them.

Moore continues on his tweet, stating that the organization will be putting Adam "Kaplan" Kaplan as the head coach of the team.

With this change, Sentinels hope to turn the tables and go back in form ahead of their future games in the league. Their next game is in under a week against last season's Champions LOUD, a win against them would make the difference for the team and set them back on track.
