FNATIC take down LOUD 3-2 to win VCT LOCK//IN

FNATIC become VCT Champions

The Grand Finals of the VCT LOCK//IN tournament took place today and clashing against each other were LOUD and FNATIC. Here's a recap of all the action!

Map 1: Ascent

The first map of the day was Ascent. FNATIC won seven of the first nine rounds to go up with a score of 7-2. LOUD then won the next two rounds, gaining some momentum, however, FNATIC then won the last round of the first half, going up with a score of 8-4. LOUD opened the second half winning the first two rounds, but then FNATIC gained their momentum back and cruised to another map win. The final score was 13-8. Leo from FNATIC again came up huge, this time having a KDA of 23-12-13, as well as an ACS of 329 and an ADE of 219. Incredible stuff.

Map 2: Fracture

FNATIC now led the series 1-0 and the next map was Fracture. The first half was very back and forth, with the score being 6-6 heading into halftime. The second half looked extremely different with FNATIC gaining some steam and winning seven of eight rounds to win the map. The final score was 13-7. Leo from FNATIC again came up huge in this map, with a KDA of 23-11-3.

Map 3: Split

The third map was Split. FNATIC was leading the series 2-0 and only needed one more map to become the winners of the tournament. The first half was very back and forth. However, LOUD pulled ahead and led 7-5 going into halftime. In the second half, LOUD took over and won six more rounds pretty easily to win the map. The final score was 13-9. Leading LOUD was Less, who had a KDA of 24-14-5. Great stuff.

Map 4: Lotus

The fourth map of the series was Lotus and FNATIC were winning 2-1. LOUD again won the first half with a score of 7-5. FNATIC opened the second half by winning two rounds, tying the score at 7-7, but then LOUD won six of the next seven rounds to win the game. The final score was 13-8. Leading LOUD was Less, who had a KDA of 22-11-4, as well as an ACS of 290 and an ADR of 205.

Map 5: Icebox

The series was tied at 2-2 and it all came down to the final map, Icebox. LOUD looked extremely dominant in the first half, leading 9-3. They then won the first two rounds in the second half, going up with a score of 11-3. FNATIC then made an incredible comeback by winning nine straight rounds to force overtime. Overtime was a breeze for FNATIC as they won two rounds to win the game 14-12. An amazing comeback. Leading FNATIC was Derke, who had a KDA of 27-20-9, as well as an ACS of 336 and an ADE of 228. Amazing stuff.
