Evil Geniuses Release Reserve VALORANT Team

Evil Geniuses will be releasing their reserve VALORANT roster, as the organization looks to cut back on spending heading into the next VCT season, the organization shared on a recent video.

In the announcement, it was revealed that Brendan ‘BcJ’ Jensen, Jeffrey ‘Reformed’ Lu, Vincent ‘Apotheon’ Le, Jacob ‘icy’ Lange and Addison 'zecK' Gorzec are all unrestricted free agents and will be available on the market. However, the organization will be keeping Kyle "ScrewFace" Jensen as a sixth man.

In addition, the organization admitted that finding balance for the ten-man roster was a challenge. Brendan 'Bcj' Jensen competed in the first two weeks of VCT Americas, and then was benched to make space for Evil Geniuses' rising superstar Max 'Demon1' Mazanov, but other than that, no other reserve roster member got a chance to compete in the starting team.

All the remaining members on the starting roster of Evil Geniuses, and the head coach, have contracts until the end of 2024. Evil Geniuses left its spot in the competitive VALORANT sphere after securing a historical title for North America in the recent VCT Champions tournament, so keeping the same winning roster will be a priority for the organization.
