DRX Becomes the First Team to Qualify for Masters Tokyo

DRX has cemented their name once again in VALORANT books, as DRX becomes the first team to guarantee qualification for Masters.

The remarkable milestone for the Korean team unfolded in the semifinals of VCT PACIFIC's PLAYOFFS, as DRX squared off against the formidable Team Secret. Team Secret defeated the Japanese team Zeta Division in an earlier game this week, and it looked as Team Secret was on a mission to upset all the major teams in the region. However, DRX wasn't willing to give up what the team achieved so far.

As the two teams clashed in a high-stakes battle, the match was set for an intense showdown. DRX fell short to Team Secret in the first map of the series, losing Haven, but DRX's meticulous preparation and strategic prowess came in clutch once again as DRX managed to secure Split in a comfortable fashion and then follow-up Bind similarly, stomping Team Secret and sending them to the lower bracket.

Team Secret's adventure isn't over, as the team will face GenG in the lower bracket, hoping to make the lower bracket run and pull another major upset.
