BLEED crowned VCT Pacific Ascension Champions

BLEED Esports joins VCT Pacific League

After an impressive performance at VALORANT Champions Tour: Pacific Ascension, BLEED Esports were crowned the champions of the tournament, holding the title high. Ascension Pacific stood out as one of the most prominent events in the Asia-Pacific region, featuring a total of ten teams who dedicated months of hard work in their respective regions to book a spot in this tournament, culminating in a Grand Final where the victor earned a place in the upcoming season's VALORANT Champions Tour: Pacific League.

BLEED Esports demonstrated dominance throughout the event, beginning with an excellent performance in the Group Stage, beating out SCARZ for the top spot of the group and winning all but one match, which earned BLEED the top seed, allowing them to skip the quarterfinals and proceed to the semifinals. BLEED Esports went up against BOOM Esports in the semifinals, which proved to be a genuine test of strength. The series was tight, with both teams pushing each other to the limits. In the end, BLEED won 2-1, securing a spot in the Grand Finals of the tournament.

SCARZ also showed strength in the Group Stage, matching BLEED in victories. But when the team faced off BLEED, SCARZ came up short, losing the head-to-head and missing out on the top spot. This result forced them to accept a lower seed. The Japanese team defeated FANCY United Esports 2-0 in the quarterfinals. In the semifinals, SCARZ faced a tough battle against NAOS but managed to come out on top with a hard fought 2-1, securing a spot in the Grand Finals of the tournament.

In the climatic showdown of the tournament, BLEED Esports and SCARZ went head-to-head once again, but this time for the coveted championship title. The map selection process began with BLEED veto-ing Split and SCARZ veto-ing Pearl. Then, BLEED chose Haven, while SCARZ went with Bind. BLEED chose Fracture for the third map, and SCARZ chose Ascent. Lotus remained as the potential tiebreaker in case the series went to five maps.

The series began with BLEED demonstrating excellence on their map pick Haven. BLEED built an enormous lead in the first half, leading with six rounds advantage. Despite SCARZ's efforts to make a comeback in the second half, BLEED kept firm, and secured the first map in a 13-9 scoreline. Moving on to the second map, Bind, it was SCARZ's chance to shine. BLEED Esports, on the other hand, continued to dominate, sweeping through the first half with a massive eight rounds advantage. And just like that, BLEED took the second map with a dominant 13-2. With the series nearing its conclusion, the third map, Fracture, provided another chance for SCARZ to bounce back. But, BLEED Esports took the lead again in the first half, this time with a four rounds advantage. Despite SCARZ's desperate efforts to stage a comeback in the second half, BLEED Esports maintained their cool and dealt the last blow to SCARZ with a 13-8 win, completing a clean sweep.

BLEED Esports' win in VCT Pacific Ascension Grand Finals earned them the championship title, and a spot in the upcoming season's VALORANT Champions Tour: Pacific League.
