Competitive

This past weekend, the FNCS Major 3 Grand Finals were held, featuring not only staggering prize pools but also granting players the chance to qualify for the FNCS Global Championship. Before delving into the tournament and its outcomes across different regions, I am eager to share the latest announcement from Elite Esports, a highly active organization within the scene.

This edition in Europe has been truly captivating; we've witnessed many unexpected names at the top of the leaderboard. The winners are Swizzy, a well-known player from the Asian community, who decided to move to Europe in December 2022. It was during this season that he teamed up with a new duo partner, Putrick, a prominent contender within the European community. Putrick secures his first title after participating in over 10 FNCS events. Meanwhile, Swizzy becomes the second-ever Multi-Region FNCS Winner. The two of them completely dominated the entire tournament, boasting the lowest AVG Placement and the highest kill count among all the duos.

Second place goes to TruleX and Chico, while Misha and T3eny secure the third spot. The fourth position is claimed by the winners of the FNCS Invitational 2022, Kami and Setty.

In North America as well, the tournament has been highly entertaining and competitive, with the winners being Ajers and Khanada. Khanada's victory marks his first FNCS win after more than 4 years of competing. Second place goes to Bugha and Threats, while Eomzo and Rise secure the third spot. Notably, Bucke secured the twelfth position, having concluded day 1 with just 44 points, and then gaining an impressive +327 points on day 2, clinching the session victory. This stands as one of the many incredible performances in this splendid and incredibly fun FNCS!

In South America, the winners were once again Fazer and K1ng, the latter securing his fourth FNCS victory. Phzin and Kitoz managed to secure only the tenth position. Moving to Asia, the champions were Bobik1ng and Larkpex. Meanwhile, in the Middle East, Kalgamer and 7man claimed victory for the second time in a row. Lastly, in Oceania, the official winners were Jace and RepulseGod, with Alex and Worthy securing the second-place position.
