Chapter 7 Season 1: All you need to know!

Chapter 7 Season 1 brings a refreshed map, updated gameplay, new weapons, and a new Battle Pass to explore this season.

Chapter 7 Season 1 has officially arrived, bringing a fresh start, a new theme, and a full reset to the Fortnite experience. Below is a complete breakdown of everything the season includes so far!

Map Changes

The island features several new POIs, with new locations to explore. The overall layout feels refreshed, giving players new places to land and new paths to learn.

  • Battlewood Boulevard
  • Sandy Strip
  • Wonkeeland
  • Humble Hills
  • Bumpy Bay
  • Classified Canyon
  • And more to explore!

Weapons & Items

Chapter 7 Season 1 arrives with a fresh loot pool. New weapons debut on day one, several items rotate back in, and others leave the game entirely.

Assault Rifles

  • Enforcer AR — Fast-firing, steady mid-range rifle.
  • Deadeye AR — Scoped, accurate, and the stronger long-range option.

Shotguns

  • Iron Pump Shotgun — Heavy-hitting new pump.
  • Twin Hammer Shotguns — Quick, tactical-style dual shotgun.

Snipers

  • Vengeful Sniper Rifle
    • Three quick shots
    • Lower damage than traditional snipers

SMGs

  • Holo Rush SMG — Fast, smooth, strong up close.
  • Dual Micro SMGs — Extremely rapid burst damage at point-blank range.
  • Tactical Pistol — Base pistol with increased stats

Special Weapons

  • Ark Lightning Gun
    • Chains electricity to structures
    • Also chains to enemies

Melee / Mobility

  • Forbidden Vow Blade
    • High-mobility slashes
    • Low damage, but strong movement option

New Utility

  • Self-Revive Device (found in vending machines and supply drops)
  • Portable Reboot Vans may spawn — can boost, siren included
  • Wing Suits for traversal
  • Moving balloons offering loot and vantage points

Gameplay Changes

Several core systems have been adjusted, impacting how matches flow and how players move and fight.

  • Matches start on the edge of the storm, not on the Battle Bus
  • Players ride a wave launcher inward; timing your jump increases distance
  • Later in the season, the Battle Bus can return with a random deployment chance

Wingsuits are a featured mobility item this Season. Launch upward, auto-deploy, then glide!

Defeat Human Bill, Hush, or Beach Brutus to take their loot and abilities — and transform into them. Becoming a boss gives you full Health and Shield, increased max Health and Shield, infinite Energy, and a unique powerful ability. But your location is always revealed to nearby players.

This Season, every Storm phase has a chance to flip the script in real time. Rift anomalies can drop bonus loot, apply powerful match-wide effects, and more — with additional anomalies set to arrive as the Season progresses. Storm anomalies can also trigger each zone, bringing effects like extra care packages, temporary invisibility, and other surprises.

Battle Pass

Purchase the Battle Pass and seek revenge as The Bride, rep the future as Marty McFly, and unlock Fortnite originals like Miles Cross and Cat Holloway...plus a new version of Dark Voyager!

In addition to their other unlockable Styles, the Battle Pass includes special Styles for three of the Outfits: Cat Holloway, Carter Wu, and Dark Voyager (Reality Redacted). You can only unlock these additional Styles by completing Quests in Blitz Royale, Reload, and Battle Royale respectively.
