On Friday, October 12th, 2018, Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 released worldwide across PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Among many franchise firsts, Zombies fans were treated to a total of four maps in the day one Zombies experience. The chronological first in the emerging Chaos storyline was Voyage of Despair, set on the RMS Titanic featuring the four intrepid adventurers that would serve as playable characters.
To the surprise of none, Voyage of Despair - as well as each of the other Zombies experiences throughout the years, held a plethora of secrets. While the Abandon Ship main quest tasks players with completing the Trial, those who dig deeper will find various side quests and hidden messages scattered throughout the ship.

Guide
Note: You must equip the Scepter of Ra specialist weapon prior to beginning the match.
To reveal this cipher, the Scepter of Ra will need to be progressed to its third and final stage. You can do this by killing Zombies which will increment the progress bar and number on its HUD icon.
Navigate to the Cargo Hold without draining the water which floods it, then equip the Scepter of Ra and activate the Shining Beacon ability to place it near the motorized bicycle found within a wooden crate.
Solution
Those of you from the country of Wales will likely recognize the language being used in this cipher text; rather than utilizing an encryption method as most ciphers in Zombies do, this message is simply encoded from English to Welsh. Translating between these languages reveals the following plain text!
Cipher Text
NI ELLIR ARBED YR UN YR YDYCH YN CHWILIO AMDANO OS NA ALLWCH CHI ARBED EICH HUN YN GYNTAF
Plain Text
The one you are looking for cannot be saved if you cannot save yourself first.
Explanation
Although this cipher was discovered and solved in February of 2019, over two years ago at the time of writing, it wasn't until today that players were aware of how to reveal it in-game. The cipher was first solved by community members RichKiller, Nethromaniac, and Coldstone The Gamer using a texture which was extracted from the game.
The means to activate this message were first revealed by us, @CODTracker, thanks to the recent release of decompiled scripts by community member Serious. We are of the belief that it unfortunately would not have been found legitimately, seeing as it first became accessible to players 969 days ago. We expect to see more secrets shared in the coming weeks.
Just yesterday, we shared a first-look at a previously undiscovered cipher which can also be found within Black Ops 4 Zombies' Voyage of Despair experience. You can find a guide for it in the following article.
