A Brimstone is a Smoker, a person who block's enemy view and plays a critical role in the format of a team

Brimstone's are useful on site that have small entrances like Ascent, Haven and Bind

Although rarely seen, Brimstone does not usually appear in maps like Breeze as the map is big and harder to smoke off enemy teammates.

A Brimstone is expected to smoke (descriptions below) everytime the enemy is about approach site, or smoke off key peaking points that enemies can peak off of. Smoking Towers (Heaven) when entering site are important as your teammates cna easily be picked off, some examples of places to smoke are Haven A Tower, Split B Tower, Ascent A Tower and Ascent B Market.

Like lots of people said, Communication is key. You are expected to communicate with your teammates on where enemies are and smoke the entrance, likewise, your teammates are expected to tell you where the enemies are going to push, which then makes you ready to smoke the entrance whenever the enemies push site. Unfortunantely, some teammates do not communicate with your team, so you would have to be on high alert on where the enemies are.

A standard team usually consists of 2 Duelists, 1 Initiator, 1 Sentinel and 1 Smoker. In this case, Brimstone, IS the smoker on the team, so you have be able to move around the map and smoke for your team. It is not ideal to have 2 smokers as your smokes may overlap, and would provide of no use to the team to have 2 smokes at the same time in the same place.

After the spike is planted, your teammates expect you to use your ult whenever you hear a defuse, if you do not have a ult, they expect you to molly, or peak the spike as you would normally not have died when entering site. If it is a 1 v 5 situation, you can use your ult or a lineup you have to win by time and the spike will explode due to time.

The Brimstone has one of the best kits in the game. It can inflict damage, boost teammates and block off enemy teammates!

A Brimstone is equipped with 1 Stim-Beacon, 1 Incendiary (Molly), 3 Sky Smokes, and 1 Orbital Strike (Ult)

The Stim Beacon of a Brimstone can boost your teammates. Speed of your teammates in the area will increase. The fire rate of your teammate's guns will increase and the reload speed of the guns of your teammates will also increase. The Stim-Beacon is most useful to help your duelists get onto site as they now have fast speed and bullet rate, allowing them to control site easily.

Incendiary is otherwise known as the molly, inflicts damage on enemy teammates. Like a Viper Snakebite and a Kayo Fragment, it deals damage in a surface area. The Incendiary is very good for post plant to stall time on the enemy defusing spike. Lots of Brimstone players learn lineups to clutch up when in a losing position. The Sky Smoke, otherwise known as smoke, blocks off enemy view. As stated above, the brimstone mainly uses his smokes to block off enemy view, and which is why he is in the Smoker section of the team composition. Using his smokes, Brimstone can camp using shorties/judge/bucky, and gain early picks. Brimstone smokes help the team entry!

Orbital Strike, Brimstone's Ultimate, clears part of a area using his big beam that inflicts lots of damage to enemies who stand in the ultimate for one second, which helps Brimstone and his teammates inflict damage on the other team by making them distracted. Brimstone's ult is very useful on post plant and can stop enemies from defusing the spike!
