XDefiant Will Get One New Faction Every Three Months

Ubisoft's crossover game XDefiant brings many of the publisher's franchises together in an arena shooter as Factions. These groups can be found in games including Splinter Cell, The Division, Far Cry, Ghost Recon Phantoms, and Watch Dogs 2. Yet, those are just the first five to be included in XDefiant and they're just the beginning.

Players have had time to play the game in Closed Beta and an Insider Session. Both playtests allowed players to get to know the five Factions, their abilities, and how they work together, but more will be added in the future. According to XDefiant's Executive Producer Mark Rubin, a new Faction will be added every three months.  

With Factions being pulled straight from Ubisoft games, there are plenty to work with. While it remains to be seen which Factions will be added, it appears the game will be getting quite a lot of them in the future.
